Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) over Minnesota Vikings

One of the clearest signs of “sharp” action is when a line moves despite the majority of “public” action being on the other side. That is the case here, as the world appears to be on Minnesota despite a line movement from an opening number of 2 to the current number of 2.5.

On the field, the Bucs have been a mess for the most part this season, but this is still a team with considerable talent, and Tampa Bay does have the small benefit of home field advantage in this match-up. In addition, the Vikings are led by a rookie quarterback, an unproven running game and a receiving corps that has been wildly disappointing, and it is pretty aggressive to predict a road victory from the current version of the Vikings.

This may appear to be a coin flip game, but it is quite possible that Tampa Bay has the better roster as currently constructed, and in their home building, they are the play.
