The New England Patriots are absolutely embarrassing the Chicago Bears at home on Sunday. Early in the third quarter the Bears are down 45-7, a scoreline you’d see more often in college football then in the NFL.
Fortunately for me, I played tight end Rob Gronkowski, and it is paying off huge for me right now. Gronkowski has nine catches for 149 yards and three touchdowns so far in the game.
The third of those touchdowns was by far the most impressive, a monstrous 46-yard touchdown catch and run where he just man handles a Bars defender, throwing him to the side before out running the secondary and dragging others into the end zone.
All that running has taken its toll on Gronkowski though, who has since left the game because of dehydration. Which probably can be translated to, “we want him off the field so he doesn’t get hurt.”
Unfortunately I’m also playing against the Patriots defense, and Jay Cutler is handing them all sorts of points as well.
