Seahawks at Panthers Final Score 13-9: Russell Wilson Leads Come Back Win
By Mike Dyce
The Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks squared off Sunday in NFL action.
Last year the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers were the class of the NFC, finishing first and second in the conference respectively. Neither team is playing at their 2013 level, and what might have looked like a huge clash at the beginning of the season is now a game with a bit of desperation about it as both teams look to move above .500.

The game got off to a slow start as either the offenses couldn’t get anything going or as a defensive battle, which eve spin you choose to give it.
The two teams traded field goals throughout the first three quarters to enter the fourth quarter locked at six points.
The Panthers broke through late in the fourth quarter with a field goal to take a 9-6 lead with about four-and-a-half minutes left in the game.
The way this game went it looked like a lead they wouldn’t surrender.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson led his team down the field on a nine-play, 80-yard drive that ended in a 23 yard touchdown pass to Luke Wilson.
That would give the Panthers offense about 45 seconds to march down the field and win the game.
The drive got off to a horrible start thanks to some sacks that saw the Panthers facing a 3rd and 22 after a false start penalty and an seven yard loss on a sack. Newton was sacked on that third down play to lose another three yards forcing a fourth-and-25 they’d have to go for on their own eight-yard line.
That play was an incomplete pass and the Seahawks got the ball on downs, running out the clock to win the game and improve to 4-3. The Panthers on the other hand dropped to 3-4-1.
