MLB and the Arizona Fall League have released the rosters for the AFL’s Fall Stars game, and it features some of the top prospects in baseball, including Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Byron Buxton.

The Arizona Fall League’s Fall Stars game doesn’t have the same prestige or allure as the midseason MLB Futures Game, which takes place the weekend of the MLB All-Star Game, but this year’s Fall Stars game is chock full of baseball’s top prospects from across the game, including the top prospect in baseball, Byron Buxton of the Minnesota Twins organization.

The rosters for the East and West teams have been released (the rosters go by the East and West divisions of the AFL, and not where the parent club is geographically located), and both rosters feature some intriguing names to keep an eye on when the game is broadcast next Saturday on MLB Network.

In the West, the top names are arguably outfielder Rusney Castillo of the Boston Red Sox, shortstop Francisco Lindor of the Cleveland Indians, and shortstop Corey Seager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, with the latter two being their respective team’s top prospects (and considered top prospects in the game), and Castillo, a defector from Cuba, saw action in September with Boston and figures to be in their big-league plans next season.

The East features Archie Bradley, a top pitching prospect with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Josh Bell, Los Angeles Angels 3B prospect Kaleb Cowart, New York Mets outfield prospect Brandon Nimmo, and Buxton, all considered either their team’s top prospect or excellent prospects in their own right.
