The Oakland Raiders remain winless, competing for the title of worst team in the league with the New York Jets.  The Jets lone win this season has come against Oakland.

If there’s anything that we’ve learned on Sunday it’s this: turnovers will kill you, and it’s the constant turnovers that the Raiders and Jets commit that place them at the bottom of the barrel in the league.

The good part, the two worst teams in the league won’t highlight Week 8.  Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for 522 yards, fourth-most in a single game in NFL history with six touchdowns.

Elsewhere in the league, the Cardinals are making their case of being “for real” this year, defeating NFC East leading Philadelphia late while Seattle and Cincinnati also won their games in the final minutes, while Detroit won their game in London in the last minute, coming down from as much as 21 (poor Atlanta).

Finally, there’s that Tom Brady guy who threw five touchdowns in the Patriots 51-23 win against Chicago.

There was a lot that happened on Sunday.  So sit back, relax, click next and let’s reminisce about the week that was.
