St. Louis Rams Lose Brian Quick For Season
Maybe the NFL‘s least lucky team, the St. Louis Rams have now likely lost Brian Quick for the season due to an injury suffered on Sunday.

The St. Louis Rams absolutely cannot catch a break. Despite looking atrocious thus far this season on the field, they are dropping like flies as well. The Rams found out this morning that Jake Long has re-torn his ACL and is done for the season, now they can add Brian Quick to that list as well.
During their contest on Sunday with the Kansas City Chiefs, Quick left the game in the second quarter and was seen with his arm in a sling. Jeff Fisher mentioned that Quick would likely miss some time, and now that looks to be significant.
Adam Schefter is reporting that Brian Quick has a dislocated shoulder, as well as having torn his rotator cuff.
If you remember correctly, Sam Bradford went down before the season started, leaving Austin Davis to man the quarterback position. After developing strong chemistry with Brian Quick, Davis will now have to look elsewhere for offensive production.
Fisher decided to give Zac Stacy and Tre Mason both a significant amount of carries on Sunday, leading neither to get a rhythm going. Davis threw for only 160 yards while throwing one touchdown and one interception on Sunday.
Despite solid outings against the Seahawks and Buccaneers, Davis has posted QBR numbers below 20 in three separate games, as well as being below 10 this weekend. Losing a playmaker like Quick, Davis and the Rams are going to struggle even further.
Look for Kenny Britt to have to step up, as well as Tavon Austin to be forced upon the Rams and Fisher.
A team that was once expected to have a pretty stout defense, finds itself with no offense and a worn out 11 on the other side. 2014 is going to be a lost year for the Rams.
