As part of NBA opening night in Tuesday, the New Orleans Pelicans are on the road taking on the Orlando Magic, and right off the bat in the first game, Anthony Davis is showing everyone why he’s considered one of the fastest rising stars in the league.
Davis, since his days at Kentucky, has been considered a force in the low post and really not much else from there. But as his time in the NBA lengthens, we’re beginning to see flashes of one of the most versatile players in the game.
Want proof? Just watch in the video below as Davis makes the steal at one end of the court, then goes all the way down the other end of the floor and finished with the throw down.
Now if that right there isn’t the picture of versatility, I don’t know what is.
The Pelicans and the NBA have a real star on their hands for the foreseeable future.
