In the offseason, the Dallas Mavericks made a key move.

They signed Houston Rockets‘ forward Chandlers Parsons to a huge offer sheet and the Rockets chose not to match. The Mavericks have been missing out on free agents over the last few years so they were willing to spend a little extra money and overpay for Parsons. He’s a very versatile player that should really help the Mavericks’ offense. Plus, they got Dirk Nowitzki to re-sign on the cheap, making it easier to give Parsons that deal.

On Tuesday night, the NBA tipped off their season with a matchup between the Mavericks and the defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs. Parsons made an impact early in the first quarter. He drove through the lane and threw down a huge dunk.
