Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin recently threw some pretty high praise the way of wide receiver Antonio Brown, noting that he’s one of the best on the planet.

The Pittsburgh Steelers put on a passing clinic this past Sunday in their convincing win over the Indianapolis Colts, and once again, Antonio Brown had a lot to do with the success through the air for the Steelers.

In the win over the Colts, Brown caught 10 passes for 133 yards with two scores, once again proving that he might be one of the more overlooked receivers in the game today.

Well, he’s not overlooked by his head coach, Mike Tomlin, who raved about Brown on Tuesday about as much as one coach can about one of his players.

“He’s one of the best in the world at what he does,” said Tomlin via the Steelers website. “(Antonio) is physically and mentally on top of his game, and when you have somebody who’s playing like that, you step into a stadium and he’s a known issue but still he performs. We say similar things about guys like J.J. Watt. We knew what he was capable of when we were getting ready to play the Houston Texans, but it still doesn’t stop the storm from coming. Antonio is playing at that type of a level from a wide receiver standpoint, a J.J. Watt discussion kind of a level. I’m glad that he’s on our team.”

How effective has Brown been this season? Well, he’s caught 60 passes for 852 yards and seven touchdowns, so at this point, Tomlin might not be wrong to praise his wideout in this manner.
