With big man Anthony Davis continuing to develop into one of the best players in basketball and players like former All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday, power forward Ryan Anderson, the winner of the 2011-2012 Most Improved Player Award and shooting guard Eric Gordon all healthy to start the season, they believe they can make a run at the playoffs.
They have new jerseys and whole new approach, which includes a fantastic new introduction video that is shown just before the starting lineups are introduced. You can see head coach Monty Williams and his star, Anthony Davis, along with several other New Orleans Pelicans’ players, pretend to be chefs and cook in the introduction video.
Usually teams simply how highlights or thank the fans for coming out to the game so you have to admire the creativity of the Pelicans and their what is obviously a top notch staff.
