Tom Coughlin is not messing around in this rally speech for the New York Giants

The New York Giants are by no means the worst team in the NFL, but they certainly aren’t in a comfortable position right now. They’re miles behind the top teams in the league, including both the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles– and that’s not good enough for head coach Tom Coughlin.

After practice on Monday, he huddled his players around- but not for a feel good friendship circle.

No, this coach meant business. He hollered at his players about their work ethic, their professionalism, and about looking forward every single weekend. The New York Post sounded almost fearful of Coughlin:

"He didn’t ask if they enjoyed their bye week. Instead, the veteran coach challenged his players — in a voice loud enough to echo off nearby MetLife Stadium — to block out distractions, act like professionals and focus on being the best they can be over the final nine games of the season."

This is the coach that has won two Super Bowl championships, and there’s a reason for it. He’s got the authority when he rallies his players to remind the of why they are as good as they are, and push them to continue to get better- even as they move into a difficult nine-game home stretch.

“No bulls—-t. No excuses”, he thundered, making sure his words would echo in his players ears for days following the rally speech.

The Giants will go on to play the Seattle Seahawks next weekend, and from the sounds of it, Coughlin refuses to watch them lose.
