New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony appeared on last night’s episode of Sons of Anarchy to deliver a one-liner as a bad guy.

If you were watching last night’s episode of “Sons of Anarchy,” then you may have noticed a certain NBA player, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, lurking in the background in all black.

That is because Carmelo Anthony appeared on the show for a brief cameo as a bad guy.

Andy Isaac of Uproxx captured Anthony’s moment in a short Vine clip.

The one line for Anthony during the episode was, “We got a call” — which is likely something he heard over and over again this summer from his agent when he was a free agent.

They say all of the good actors can draw from personal experience, and Carmelo nailed this one-liner.

Here is the video:

BOOM.

That is an all-star performance right there.

Carmelo Anthony finished off his appearance on “Sons of Anarchy” by handing a dude a knife and then fading into the darkness.

It was certainly a bizarre cameo, but hey, NBA players have to do something in the offseason to pass their time. For Anthony, that something was filming a brief role as a bad guy on television.

Let’s just hope that his defensive performance is more noticeable on the court during the 2014-15 NBA season.
