The national champion Florida State Seminoles debuted some nice new Nike uniforms this season, and when it came time for the opener against Oklahoma State, there was one problem that was immediately noticeable. The problem was the fact that the gold numbers on the away jerseys, along with the names on the back, were pretty much invisible.

Since that time Florida State has promised that they would rectify that situation, and they have indeed done that just in time for probably their most important away game of the season on Thursday night.

Wednesday afternoon the school debuted the new threads with the traditional garnet numbers and names on the white jerseys.

Once the Seminoles took the field in Dallas for the game with Oklahoma State, it was immediately noticeable that there was an issue, and it’s nice to see that they were able to get that taken care of.

The No. 2 ranked Seminoles, in both the AP Poll and the initial College Football Playoff rankings, will travel on the road Thursday night to take on ACC newcomer Louisville, who boasts one of the toughest defenses in the country.
