Rajon Rondo decides to play game in a ‘nap-time’ decision
Rajon Rondo is one hundred percent my favorite person on the Boston Celtics– and, based on the way the Boston Bruins have been playing, probably my favorite athlete in the entire city.

Rondo claimed he doesn’t like to be a ‘game-time’ decision, so he promised the media- and fans- that he would announce his decision as to whether or not he would play in the Celtic’s home opener against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night ‘after he took his nap’. He said he’d get a good, long night’s sleep, then take a nap on Wednesday- and let everyone know whether he had decided to play.
The 28-year old point guard was a hot topic back in April, when rumors that the Celtics were talking to the Houston Rockets surfaced. Had Rajon Rondo moved to Houston at the same time as me, we pretty much could have become best friends. Still not over his decision to stay in Mass.
Rondo was still attempting to decide whether he would play in the season opener due to a broken hand he had been recovering from. Looks like he’s determined that he’s good to go, which is nothing but good news for Boston.
