Which struggling NFL teams need to stay the course and remain patient?

Losing is part of the NFL. Every team loses, some teams are just better at it than others are. The problem is that fans have little patience for struggling NFL teams, and they shouldn’t.

Being a fan of a losing team just isn’t as fun as being a fan of a winner. Fans pay for expensive tickets and expensive merchandise. They shouldn’t have to deal with a team that puts a poor product on the field. In an era where the rules force parity upon the every team in the league, fans have a right to demand excellence from their favorite franchise.

That is why everyone is quick to want to pull the plug when things go south for a franchise. Once a team starts losing with regularity, it is time to rebuild, right? Well, that isn’t always the case.

Sometimes the process of turning a loser into a winner cannot happen immediately. Sometimes, as painful as it can be for fans to endure, patience is the key to eventually contending for a Super Bowl. Patience can be hard, but some teams still deserve it.
