Keys to Victory
Can the Giants beat the Colts without a viable running game? Andre Williams has been underwhelming since taking over for the injured Rashad Jennings. If the Giants throw the ball a lot in this game, they will lean heavily on Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham, Jr. This could be a good match-up for those young receivers given the injury to Colts’ cornerback Vontae Davis.
The Giants will face two of their former players on the Colts offense: Ahmad Bradshaw and Hakeem Nicks. One matters and one doesn’t. One of the keys to victory for the Giants will be to stifle the Indianapolis running game early. Granted, the Colts are more than comfortable throwing the ball a lot in any given game, but even with Andrew Luck’s greatness, that is not always a recipe for success for them.
Luck and the Colts have shown a unique ability to mount second half comebacks, but as their loss in Pittsburgh showed, you can only fall behind in the first half so many times and get away with it. If Indy avoids getting in the hole early, they might take this opportunity to reassert themselves as one of the powers in the AFC. That said, it will be no easy task against the oddly unpredictable Giants, especially on the road.

Prediction
No team in the NFL was hotter than the Colts before their week 8 loss to the Steelers. That Indy defense will be a punchy but inconsistent unit the rest of the way, but it will cost them games from time to time. That will happen again here. With an extra week to prepare, the Giants will find a way to win this game at home on the national stage.
Final Score: Giants 31, Colts 28
