James asked Twitter users to vote on the matter using #ChalkToss or #ChalkedOut.

Spoiler alert: LeBron is going to do the chalk toss Thursday.

Given the popularity of James’ chalk toss, it’s almost guaranteed that the Twitter will vote for him to bring it back.

Also, the Cavaliers are handing out bags of chalk for fans to toss in the air when LeBron does.

The chalk toss with the fans promises to be an awesome moment in what is clearly the NBA’s most anticipated game of the season.

LeBron spoke about the importance of the contest to ESPN:

"“For me, I know all of us shouldn’t take this moment for granted,” James said after shootaround Thursday in advance of the Cavs’ home game against the New York Knicks. “This is probably one of the biggest sporting events that is up there ever.”"

The game is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET in Quicken Loans Arena.
