Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is an easy target for jokes these days.
The Louisville football fan base took full advantage of that for their team’s game against Winston and FSU on Thursday.
A number of Louisville fans wore crab costumes to the game.
Winston infamously was issued a civil citation for shoplifting crab legs from a Publix grocery store in Tallahassee in April. This is the second time this week that Winston’s crab-stealing incident has found itself in the headlines. On Wednesday, Winston and FSU were spotted going to a Joe’s Crab Shack.
Obviously, Twitter users had their fun with the pit stop.
Despite all the dislike many college football fans have for Winston and his team, the Seminoles are 7-0 and the No. 2 team in the country.
Winston won the 2013 Heisman trophy after throwing for 4,057 yards and 40 touchdowns. He also led the Seminoles to an undefeated season and a national championship.
Winston has thrown for 1,878 yards and 13 touchdowns so far this season.
