The Dallas Cowboys tremendous season, that saw them race out to a 6-1 start before losing last week the the Washington Redskins, might be coming to a screeching halt. It looks like the Cowboys, who had banded together, might be falling apart.
Running back Joseph Randle was arrested for shop lifting a few weeks ago, which is a minor incident in the grand scheme of things. Then the video of Randle’s arrest inside the jailhouse came out, and it shows Randle making some questionable comments during his booking on the theft charges, some at his teammate’s expense.
“Dez didn’t miss no games for smacking his momma,” Randle said, referencing wide receiver Dez Bryant’s 2012 arrest for an altercation with his mother.
That comment might not have sat well with Bryant, and according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Randle and Bryant got into it before practice. Eventually veteran tight end Jason Witten had to step in and separate them and specifically directed Randle to be quiet.

“Alright, don’t say another (expletive) word!” Witten yelled at Randle according to Mike Fisher of 105.3 FM in Dallas. “Alright? Don’t say nothin’ from here on out. Don’t talk about it.”
Randle also made comments about teammate Josh Brent, who was involved in the 2012 vehicular homicide tragedy that killed Jerry Brown.
This could spell trouble for the Cowboys, and if they can’t resolve this rift in the locker room, it might just be another reason for them to cut ties with Randle.
