Paul Pierce is making an early case for best Halloween costume of the year from an NBA player.
The Washington Wizards forward was spotted outside the team’s locker room in a full Captain America costume Friday.
Pierce really went all out here with this costume, wearing the full Captain American ensemble all the way down to the shield.
CSN Washington reported that Pierce left the team’s facility in the costume quickly after Friday’s practice ended.
"Headed to a kids party – or perhaps to save the world-, Pierce didn’t dawdle. Navigating the crowded hallway, he stated with playful urgency, “Watch out, watch out. I’ve got lives to save.”"
Pierce also tweeted out a picture of his costume once at the the kid’s party.
Through two games of the 2014-15 NBA season, Pierce is averaging 16.5 points and five rebounds per game.
The Boston Celtics drafted Pierce with the No. 10 overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft. Pierce has played for the Celtics, Wizards and Brooklyn Nets in his career.
