West Virginia – Troy Polamalu

West Virginia finds itself between several NFL franchises and probably tugged in a lot of directions, but the most popular player in the state based on jerseys sales is Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu.

This is the second state that Polamalu leads in jersey sales, alongside Pennsylvania. So not only are him and Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly the only defensive players to lead a state in jersey sales, both do so in two states.
