California – Colin Kaepernick

California is home to three NFL franchises, so this could’ve gone a number of directions. Given the dominance the San Francisco 49ers have shown in recent years, playing in three consecutive NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl, it is easy to understand why they’d be the most popular in the state.

49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is the face of the franchise and the leader of the offense after bursting onto the scene filling in for an injured Alex Smith. His ability to run and throw, good lucks and signature “Kaepernicking” celebration has made him a popular NFL figure.
