Taylor Lewan Pleads Guilty To Assaulting Ohio State Fan In 2013
By Josh Hill
Taylor Lewan may be in the NFL right now, but the ghosts of his college football past are still haunting him in the courts of Michigan.
Tennessee Titans rookie lineman Taylor Lewan, who played his college ball at Michigan, has entered a plea of guilty over assault charges filed against him by an Ohio State fan.

The incident stems from a fight that occurred back in 2013 after the Buckeyes and Wolverines played their rivalry game last year. After the game — which Ohio State won — Lewn reportedly beat on an Ohio State fan he claims was starting a fight with his brother. The stories have differed from there, but the conclusion has apparently been settled upon.
According to Yahoo! Sports, Taylor Lewan has agreed to pay nearly $2,000 in restitution and medical bills as part of his guilty plea.
"Lewan, 23, instead pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors and agreed to pay $1,714 in restitution, mostly medical bills. He said his brother was involved in a ”confrontation” and he joined the angry crowd.”I had been drinking. I was intoxicated,” Lewan told the judge."
The incident seems to be reaching a point where Lewan can move on and grow as a man from it, but it’s further proof that you can’t run away from everything in college. The Titans didn’t deem the incident serious enough to drop his draft status this past year, but Lewan is still having to deal with it regardless and will be hopefully moving on from this shortly.
