In the premier game of the day on Saturday night, the No. 3 Auburn Tigers are taking on the No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels in a game that is essentially an elimination game for the College Football Playoff. Well, Auburn’s Duke Williams did his part early to make sure the Tigers get on the fast track to a win.
Auburn got the ball first in this one on the road, and they quickly drove down the field and scored on a Nick Marshall touchdown run to go up 7-0. However, the biggest play of the drive came from Duke Williams.
Watch in the video below as Williams is able to incredibly haul in this pass from Marshall to get the offense in the position to punch it in for the early go-ahead score.
Originally the pass was ruled incomplete, but after the officials went to take a look at it, the right call was made and Auburn was set up in perfect position to get the game off to a good start.
