The Auburn Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels are locked into a heated battle as the third and fourth best teams in the country, and it has been a tight contest thus far. Both teams are loaded with talent, and are competing with each other for the chance to play in the first ever college football playoff.
Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall threw a tough interception in the second quarter deep in Ole Miss territory. The Rebels have relied on their defense for a large portion of this season, and it has come up with key turnovers in their own red zone multiple times. That turnover could become critical in this game, and the Tigers are going to need to find a way to score more points against the stout Ole Miss defense.
If you’re not doing anything this evening you should make sure to tune into this game. Auburn and Ole Miss are very equal in terms of talent, and they are both putting everything they have onto the field tonight. It doesn’t get much better than primetime SEC football involving two teams in the top-five that are playing for a chance at making history in the first college football playoff.
