The Dallas Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL, but they had a very “tense” team meeting due to an altercation between Dez Bryant and Joseph Randle.

The Dallas Cowboys have had a drama filled week with the loss to the Washington Redskins and the reported fight that wide receiver Dez Bryant and running back Joseph Randle got into. It has been said that the fight was due to a comment that Randle made during his booking after getting arrested on October 13th.

According to a report from ESPN.com, the Cowboys held a very “tense” team meeting to address the issues and head coach Jason Garrett is beginning to wonder if the team can afford to keep Randle on the roster.

At this point in time, the Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL and have been playing an impressive brand of football. Quarterback Tony Romo is dealing with a couple of small fractures in his back that has bothered him for quite some time, and that could be another issue that causes problems for the Cowboys over the next few weeks.

Needless to say, having this type of issue halfway through the season is never a good sign for a football team. Perhaps cutting Randle and washing their hands of that situation would be in the best interest for Dallas. Randle does have quite a bit of talent, but keeping him on the roster and having teammates fight about the issue simply isn’t worth it.

It will be very intriguing to see what the Cowboys end up doing about this situation. More than likely this will end up causing Randle his job, but it’s also possible that the team can figure things out among themselves. Either way, this isn’t news that should be coming out when a team is finally having a big season and has the chance to do something special for their fan base.

Expect to hear more about a potential resolution for this situation over the next few days.
