The Duke Blue Devils and the Pitt Panthers are having an early shootout here in Week 10 of the college football season and now you can add some terrific special teams play to the mix, courtesy of Duke’s DeVon Edwards.
With the game all knotted up at 31 early in the fourth quarter following a Pitt field goal, it was time for Edwards to get to work on the ensuing kickoff.
Watch in the video provided below as Edwards takes the kick 99 yards to the house for the go-ahead touchdown.
This is definitely an early candidate for game of the day thus far on this Week 10 Saturday and it’s been about as exciting as we could have asked for as the ACC Coastal tries to play itself out here in the remaining weeks of the season.
These two battled last season in a game that ended up 58-55 in favor of Pitt. They might not reach that point in this one, but it’s been just about as fun to watch as last year’s game was.
