In the huge No. 3 vs. No. 4 showdown in the SEC on Saturday night, the Auburn Tigers jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead over the Ole Miss Rebels on a Nick Marshall TD run.
However, it wouldn’t take long for the Rebels to answer right back, thanks to the rushing efforts of I’Tavius Mathers.
When Ole Miss got the ball after the Auburn score, the offense drove 92 yards down the field in 11 plays on the Tigers defense, and it was all capped off by this four-yard score from Mathers that you can watch in the video below.
That was a beautiful drive put together by the Ole Miss offense, especially after they were punched in the mouth right off the bat by Auburn to get things going.
This game could easily turn into a shootout, and if this first Ole Miss drive was any indication, they could be ready to go toe-to-toe with the defending SEC champions.
We know the running game is good, but can Bo Wallace not turn into bad Bo?
