The Pittsburgh Panthers might be a disappointment so far this season, but week in and week out one player on this team that is not a disappointment is wide receiver Tyler Boyd, who is easily one of the best in the country at what he does.
On Saturday against Duke, he proved that once again.
In the first half with the game tied at 14, Pitt saw this as a perfect opportunity to capitalize on the rushing efforts of James Conner and use the play action. Chad Voytik executed the fake and then went right up top to Tyler Boyd, who pulled down the ball in between two Duke defenders.
You can watch the play in the video below.
Again, this young man is easily one of the best receivers in the nation and he continually proves it with his efforts on the field.
Not long after this play was made, the Panthers punched in another touchdown to regain the lead over their ACC Coastal division opponent.
