An Auburn newspaper put LaQuon Treadwell’s injury on the front page after Auburn defeated Ole Miss Saturday.

After Auburn defeated Ole Miss Saturday in a great game 35-31, an Auburn-based newspaper put Ole Miss receiver LaQuon Treadwell’s injury where he suffered a broken left fibula and dislocated ankle on the front page.

It was one of the most unfortunate breaks seen in sports when Bo Wallace led Ole Miss down the field trying to score the game-winning touchdown when he found wide receiver LaQuon Treadwell who tried to find his way into the end zone before being dragged down just before crossing the plane, fumbling and snapping his left fibula and dislocating his ankle.

The Opelika-Auburn News in Auburn found it appropriate to put the picture of the Ole Miss receiver being dragged down and suffering the gruesome injury with the headline “Finding A Way” on their front page.

LaQuon Treadwell, Ole Miss’ leading recever, had 632 yards and five touchdowns, but will miss the rest of the almost miracle season for Ole Miss after he underwent surgery last night.

Auburn and Ole Miss were ranked third and fourth in college football going into the game but after Ole Miss suffered their second loss on the season, they look like they won’t have a chance at the college football playoff this year. Auburn’s hopes are still alive as they advanced to 7-1 on the year.
