The Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers are locked into a heated AFC game this afternoon, with both teams looking to come up with huge wins to help their playoff chances. Miami is currently sitting at 4-3, while the Chargers are 5-3. Both teams have legitimate chances to make runs and get into the playoffs, but that all starts with this game.
Charles Clay has been a nice target for Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill, and he came through with a nice six-yard touchdown catch to put the Dolphins up 7-0. Miami’s offense has been fairly inconsistent this season, but the potential is there to make some noise. San Diego has a high-powered offense themselves, but their defense will need to step up this afternoon in order to come away with a win.
Now that we are over halfway through the NFL season, the games becoming more intriguing as the playoff race begins shaping up. Both of these teams would take a major hit with a loss, and both teams would be able to take a major step forward with a win. If you’re not watching your favorite team play this afternoon, make sure to tune into this game.
