Josh McRoberts first game in a Heat uniform is tonight. He’s been battling inuries all offseason, but tonight he finally got to play. He didn’t disappoint, showcasing his new hairstyle as it flowed through the wind with an earth shattering dunk.
But McRoberts wasn’t done making highlights. Later in the night, in a moment of frustration, McRoberts showed his super strength. Like the Hulk, he ripped his jersey. Okay, it wasn’t exactly like the Hulk, but he totally ripped his jersey open.
Now lets see if we can figure out what caused this.
Well anger is clearly involved. The look on his face is one of pure frustration. But maybe it’s deeper than that? McRoberts was in Charlotte before he came to Miami. Maybe he’s just really hot. It’s a lot warmer in South Florida than it is in North Carolina. The best way to get cooled off quickly? Well he can’t take off his jersey, he’s in the middle of an NBA game. But ripping it? Cool and relaxing!
Okay, I just looked it up and it’s below 70 degrees right now in Florida. Any Floridian knows that’s super cold. So McRoberts wouldn’t be ripping his jersey to cool off. So maybe he’s trying to intimidate the Toronto Raptors! It makes sense really. You don’t strike fear into your opponents with a strange haircut and dunks. That’s a normal thing here in the NBA. No, to intimidate an opponent, you gotta do something weird and out of the ordinary. McRoberts did just that, ripping open his jersey. Amir Johnson will think twice the next time he crosses McRoberts.
