Early in the Philadelphia Eagles’ match up with the Houston Texans on Sunday, Eagles’ quarterback Nick Foles went down with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. He was taken to the locker room and Mark Sanchez came in to replace him.
Mark Sanchez has been much-maligned during his career for some of the famous (and hilarious) mistakes he mad in his tenure with the New York Jets. That’s why he now has to serve as a backup.
On Sunday, he’s showing a little bit of what originally made him a first round pick, including a fantastic touchdown strike to Jordan Matthews that gave the Eagles a 14-7 lead.
