Here are four takeaways from the first week of the NBA season

The NBA is back! After a long summer of studying grainy videos of overseas NBA draft prospects, following “sources say” tweets during free agency and suffering through unwatchable NBA preseason games, real basketball is back. There have already been some excellent games in just a few days of action. Kemba Walker hit two humongous shots in the Charlotte Hornets home opener to help his team win their first game after being rebranded as the Hornets.
