Early on in the year it was mainly negative with off-the-field issues arising in a big way, and now there are a lot of good things going on. Whether that be the playoff race beginning to heat up, teams who are performing above or below expectations, or players who are making MVP cases, there are plenty of stories to keep an eye on.

One of the most intriguing stories to keep an eye on throughout the course of an entire regular season is the race for the MVP award. There are players that stand out each and every week, and there are usually a handful of players that truly are in contention for the award. That has been the case once again this season, and there are plenty of players who are on the outside looking in at this point in time.
