Then of course there is the classic showdown between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady when the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots square off.

But you’ve likely noticed there are a lot of games on just two channels, and a lot of those games are on at the same time. Since you can obviously only watch one at a time, not every game is available in your market.
The folks at 506 Sports made some maps showing the regional coverage of the NFL games. Let’s start with the early schedule for CBS.
There are three games on in this time slot. The San Diego Chargers-Miami Dolphins game gets the national coverage, the other two games get regional coverage. Dallas, Houston and Minneapolis are blacked out because of NFL rules.
In CBS’ latter time slot, you’re pretty much getting Manning vs Brady, unless you live on the west coast where you’d be forced to watch what should be a beat down of the Oakland Raiders by the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
Fox has just one late game, so that game has been added to make just one match. It is clear that the big match of the week is the NFC clash between teh Cardinals and Cowboys. For the most part it is regional coverage related to the teams and their markets.
If you’re ion Indianapolis you’ll get the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Houston Texans instead of Cardinals-Cowboys, probably because of the division connection between the Indianapolis Colts and Texans.
