New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman took a punt 84 yards to the house for a touchdown.

The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos are squaring off in a game that was billed as a showdown between quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

The play of the day so far is from special teams. Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman receives the punt for the Patriots, he then takes off up the far side line.

It looks like he has been cut off along the sideline before he breaks the run back inside. At that point he basically runs from one sideline to the other to find the end zone, so even though the return will go down as an 84 yard return, it was probably more like 150 yards of running at least.

It is still a remarkable play from Edelman, and what is the most impressive thing about this play is how he keeps on running at full speed, never slowing down in the process.
