Baylor QB Bryce Petty was in no mood to talk about Baylor’s 60-14 win over Kansas. Instead, he’s already focused on next week’s showdown against Oklahoma, answering each postgame question with “ready for OU.”

Sure, he sounded like a YouTube clip stuck on a continuous loop, yet Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty made it abundantly clear where his focus was following the Bears’ 60-14 mauling of the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday.
Regardless of the questions thrown at him during the postgame press conference, Petty simply replied with ‘Ready for OU,’ a reference to Baylor’s potential Big 12-winner-take-all matchup against the visiting Oklahoma Sooners next Saturday. Petty wanted no part of analyzing how the 13th-ranked Bears rolled up 669 yards of offense, including 277 yards and three touchdowns from the Baylor senior.
Very bizarre presser from Bryce Petty. Answered every question with "We're ready for OU."

Baylor has defeated Oklahoma twice in the last three years, including last season’s 41-12 rout in Norman. Chances are good Petty might have replied with ‘ready for OU’ had someone asked a question regarding the Bears’ recent dominance. One may also be wondering if ‘ready for OU’ would be Petty’s response if asked about the weather.
Oklahoma did its part to make Saturday’s clash important, as they rolled past Iowa State 59-14 as Sooners quarterback Trevor Knight became the first FBS player this season to throw for three touchdowns and run for three scores in the same game.
