Washington Redskins QB RGII isn’t going to let the negativity get to him
Griffin: "I can't worry about the negativity swirling around. Someday I believe it'll stop."

If the Washington Redskins know more than enough about negativity, starting quarterback Robert Griffin III is a total expert.

The team has struggled in his absence, but the QB being out for injury isn’t exactly new for the franchise. RGIII spent a good chunk of last season out with a lower body injury as well, and he’s just now getting a chance to play again this season after going down at the very start of the season.
While backups Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy held their own, the franchise hurt without Griffin. Combine that with the absurd racial comments made about him– on national television, nonetheless- and it’s got to be kind of tough for the former Baylor Heisman winner to keep his head up.
Griffin seems to remain optimistic even in the face of all the negative press, though. He was cleared to play earlier in the week, and should be able to play for the remainder of the 2014 season. Hopefully, the injury bug that has nagged him for his professional career is behind him.
The Redskins fell to the Minnesota Vikings for RGIII’s return to the field, but the quarterback is confident he can turn things around. Redskins fans are just hoping he’s right.
If he’s not, though… at least they beat the Cowboys?
