RGIII returned on Sunday for the Washington Redskins for their game against the Minnesota Vikings, and so far he’s been about as effective as the team could have asked for. Oh, it also helps that when he’s kin some trouble, he has that DeSean Jackson guy to sling the ball to.
It hasn’t been easy all day for the Redskins, but Griffin and Jackson are doing what they need to do to keep the team in this one.
Down 14-10 in the third quarter, Griffin was able to engineer a 56-yard drive that he capped off with this 13-yard strike to Jackson for the score and the 17-14 lead at the time.
So far throughout in this one, RGIII has really shown no ill effects from the injury that knocked him out for several weeks, which is a good sign, all things considered.
Not long after this, the Redskins added in a field goal to further the lead to 20-14.
