Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are renewing their rivalry with Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
Although the Broncos took a 7-3 lead in the first quarter, the Patriots have been the better team in the game so far. However, they had to settle for field goals on each of their first two drives and trailed 7-6 in the second quarter. That’s when Patriots’ linebacker Rob Ninkovich picked off Peyton Manning, setting the Patriots up at the Broncos’ 34-yard line. Just four plays later, Tom Brady found wide receiver Julian Edelman for a five-yard touchdown. The score gave the Patriots a 13-7 lead and squarely seized momentum back.
