Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current NFL on Fox analyst Troy Aikman says Cowboys need to get Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant the ball to keep him happy
The Arizona Cardinals shut Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant down for most of the day. He ended up with two receptions and a late touchdown but the game had already been decided at that point.

You can attribute some of the lack of receptions for Bryant to Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson. After all he was targeted 10 times on Sunday. He was clearly frustrated at times including blowing up at Cowboys quarterback Brandon Weeden at one point on the sidelines.
After the game The Dallas Morning News quoted Troy Aikman as saying that the Cowboys need to pacify Dez Bryant as he needs the ball to be happy. He wants the ball too, you could tell watching the game today.
Part of the issue Sunday was Weeden though. He never got any flow going and missed Dez Bryant bad on a few of those 10 targets. Also Peterson by far had his best game of the season. So I’m not sure it wasn’t for a lack of trying on Sunday but I think there could have been a better game plan for him.
Dez Bryant will get his receptions though. He has 48 receptions for 620 yards on the season. I’d say even in the midst of giving running back DeMarco Murray the ball a lot, he is still the ball. Going forward though, the Cowboys will need to continue to feed that beast.
