Once LeBron James left the Miami Heat to return to the

Cleveland Cavaliers

and the Heat re-signed the other two members of the big three, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, it was obvious Bosh was going to have a much bigger role.

Once a big time scorer with the Toronto Raptors, the Heat are hopeful Bosh can be that productive again.

So far, so good.

The Heat have gotten off to a 3-0 start and Bosh is the biggest reason why. Through the first three games, he’s averaged 25.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47.9% from the floor, 54.5% from beyond the arc and 86.2% from the free throw line.

Now that he is the Heat’s primary option, Bosh believes it is his time to flourish.

“It’s just time,” Bosh said after he finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes against the Raptors via Michael Wallace of ESPN.com. “I knew I couldn’t settle into that same position I’ve been in the past four years, floating outside and shooting a couple of jumpers. I know I had to switch it up a little.”

Despite all of the extra work, Chris Bosh doesn’t feel any extra burden or added pressure.

“The best part about it is it hasn’t been strenuous,” Bosh said of the additional burden. “It feels natural.”

Chris Bosh averaged 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 51.6% from the field, 33.9% from three and 82.0% from the free trow line last season.

The Heat will be back in action when they host Dwight Howard, James Harden and the Houston Rockets Tuesday night.
