Here are five reasons why Kobe Bryant getting traded to the New York Knicks makes no sense.

There have been a few players in the NBA’s history that can claim they have had a better career than the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba arguably is the second best shooting guard of all-time. This season we all knew that his Lakers team was going to have a tough time since they were so young and immature as basketball players.

In fact, because his Lakers team has done so poorly this season (they are still winless at 0-4), there have been talks about Bryant getting ready to pack his bags and play for the New York Knicks. It even surprised me when I initially heard the trade rumors.

A lot of people are saying that this deal has heated up and it makes sense why skeptics would believe it. Reuniting Bryant with Phil Jackson, Derek Fisher, and pairing him along with the star small forward Carmelo Anthony seems likes a wonderful idea. However, I’m on the side that Bryant should stay in Los Angeles. Here are five reasons why Kobe Bryant getting traded to the New York Knicks makes no sense.

Next: Carmelo Anthony
