Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers says that his hamstring is feeling just fine for the NFL’s next edition of Sunday Night Football against the Chicago Bears.
The Green Bay Packers are coming off of a much needed bye week, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers couldn’t have had that bye week at a better time. Rodgers pulled his hamstring in their last game, which was a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints that was also on Sunday Night Football. He has had time to get over the injury and has made it clear that he is just fine as the Packers prepare to face the Bears this week.

“I was on a great plan. The medical staff here gave me a seven-day plan to attack the rehab, and I stuck to it. I also added in just a little wrinkle, as well.”
Rodgers has been putting up big numbers this season, throwing for 2,092 yards, 19 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. He threw two interceptions in the Saints game, and both of them were do to errors by his wide receivers. The Packers have been relying on Rodgers to power their offense with Eddie Lacy struggling on the ground, and he has responded with one of his best seasons.
Green Bay needs to come out of their bye week with a bang against the division rival Bears, but it isn’t going to be an easy battle. Chicago has been struggling through the season and they are looking to get back on track as well. If the Packers play up to their potential and limit the turnovers, they should be able to win the game.
All of that being said, this news that Rodgers is going to be just fine for the game is huge for the Packers. Without him at 100 percent it would be a much more difficult game against a Bears team that does have quite a bit of talent. Green Bay had just enough time to get healthy, and now they’ll look to make a run at the playoffs in a very tough NFC.
