Al Jefferson may not be a young man, but he’s still capable of schooling the younger generation in the game of basketball.

As seen in the highlight below, Charlotte Hornets center and All-NBA 3rd team member Al Jefferson cares little for the hype train that has been New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis as Jefferson sikes out Davis with a move Hakeem Olajuwon would be proud of.

Anthony Davis has had his hands full these last two games. Last night, Davis was tasked with guard low-post savant Zach Randolph (Z-Bo finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds) and now he’s forced to guard Al Jefferson, a center who many believe to be the best offensive center in the NBA right now though Kings big DeMarcus Cousins could give him a run of his money.

It’s not a bad thing to be beat by Jefferson on the low-block. Coming off one of the best years of his career as he helped lead the Charlotte Hornets to the playoffs, Jefferson is just adding Davis to a list of opponents who haven’t been able to stop him.

Mid-way through the third quarter, Al Jefferson has 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting.
