New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle did not take Monday night’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts when he ripped on his team.

New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle was very frustrated after Monday night’s 40-24 loss against the Indianapolis Colts and he was not afraid to speak his mind, bashing his team and coaches after the Giants slipped t0 3-5 on the year.

Reporters asked Rolle if he though the season could be salvaged after the third straight loss for New York and he said he has a lot of hope for his team:

“I have a lot of confidence in this team and the talent that we havem” Rolle said. “But you can keep saying something as much as you want. At the end of the day, it’s about results, and the results are not good.

“Whether I believe or not – if we go 0-16, I’m always going to believe until the day I leave this game. But we’ve got to believe in ourselves as an entire unit, and right now, I don’t know if that’s happening.”

Rolle went on to talk about how inconsistent the New York Giants team is and how he never knows what team will show up on the field. Rolle also questioned whether or not his team was being passionate enough to win games.

“We’ve got to find a way to understand that this is the NFL,” he said. “This is the league. This is where we’ve always wanted to be, and you’ve got to be passionate about the game we play. You’ve got to go out there and fight, scratch and claw, do whatever you can to get a win. Right now, it’s not happening.”

After the New York Giants lost two straight to open the year, then won three straight, they have dropped three in a row and the road doesn’t get any easier with the Seattle Seahawks, San Fransisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys up next for the struggling team.
