Worley threw for 3,556 yards and 23 passing touchdowns during his career at Tennessee and it is now likely that his college career is over unless he is granted a medical waiver by the NCAA.
“I give Justin Worley all the credit in the world,” Jones said, via Matt Slovin of The Tennessean.. “He tried anything and everything in the world to rehabilitate his shoulder back. He just could not get the velocity he needs.”
Tennessee returns to action Nov. 15 against the Kentucky Wildcats.
When they step onto the field, sophomore Josh Dobbs, who started against South Carolina, is expected to lead the starting offense onto the field.
