An intoxicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan was asked to leave the NFL game, and was later arrested after he kicked a steel barrier on his way out, injuring a woman, and tried to bribe the police officers to look away.

If you’re looking for classy, by now you’re likely aware NFL stadiums are some of the last places in the world to look, and the latest example comes courtesy of a drunk (and apparently, really stupid) Pittsburgh Steelers fan who kicked a steel barrier down. He injured one, resisted arrest, and then tried to bribe police officers after he was taken to the hospital. All after he was asked to leave the Steelers game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The fan was 29-year old Stephen Sapp, who was arrested for aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and bribery after the barrier knocked a woman unconscious, after he was asked to leave the game for reportedly being drunk (I seriously hope he wasn’t doing this with a clear mind). She was taken to a hospital for treatment, as was Sapp, who tried to bribe the police to get them to let him off the hook.

“Listen I know how this works,” Sapp reportedly said. “How much money will it take to make this go away and to let me go home today?”

He also claimed he could help the police in other ways because he is (was?) an IRS agent.

He’s being held on a $10,000 bond right now, so hopefully he can put some of his bribe money towards what will undoubtedly be some soul-crushing legal bills.
