The Portland Trail Blazers will be debuting new sleeved jerseys tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It looks like the NBA sleeved jerseys movement isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. When they take on the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers, the Portland Trail Blazers will be rocking sleeved jerseys of the white-black-red variety.

Per the official Twitter account of the Trail Blazers equipment staff, here are the first look at the jerseys, specifically that of Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge’s.

Like every other sleeved jersey seen around the NBA, the Trail Blazers uniforms look very similar to pajama tops. Very seldom has there been a sleeved jersey that actually looks solid (the Los Angeles Lakers “Hollywood Nights” uniforms come to mind), and fans must think the same as it’s been reported that the uniforms aren’t selling well.

Will the sleeved jerseys trend continue? We’ll see. Maybe someone will come up with a good enough version that’ll take the league by storm. One thing is for certain: the Trail Blazers home uniforms that’ll debut tonight won’t be it.
